Does Gentrification Affect You?    Come and find out...

A major urban issue in cities all over the country, gentrification is the process by which older neighbourhoods experience an influx of new and 'wealtheir' residents who move in and begin to change and update homes.  This in turn displaces the original residents who can no longer afford to live there due to rising rent and increases in their taxes.  The North End and Central parts of Halifax have been experiencing gentrification for the past 60 years, and it continues even more so to this day!

So, what is the best way to deal with gentrificaiton you ask?  Going for a walk of course!
